The Change Management Institute (ChgMI) is a global, independent, not for profit association of change professionals. It was created in 2005 and is operated by volunteers with the purpose to drive Credibility, Capability and Connections across both our member and follower groups. Constantly striving to push the boundaries of the change management profession, the Institute has proudly authored The Effective Change Manager: The Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK), widely acknowledged as one of the best resources available for professional Change Managers.
In 2008 the ChgMI launched the Change Management Practitioner Competency Model – underpinning the core skills change professionals needs to know and demonstrate to successfully deliver change. The CMBoK, together with the competency model underpin the ChgMI’s accreditation process – an independent practical assessment of an individuals ability to define and drive change.  The Institute now has members in many countries including Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, and Singapore and we continue to grow at a phenomenal pace.
Our membership is diverse, appealing to anyone who has a passion for or an interest in change, independent of whether you are just beginning your career or are a seasoned veteran.
With the current level of business, technology, economic, political and social disruption, a much faster and more agile response to change is now a necessity. As an advocate for the creation and distribution of best practice, the business book awards highly aligns to our value of practical knowledge and thirst for continual learning.
We are extremely proud to be supporting the Business book awards and to be specifically supporting recognition in the Embracing Change category. The Business Book Awards epitomizes the very essence of what we as an institute are about and our members and followers expect from us and we are incredibly excited to be working on this event.
