I was born in Kenya the youngest of 8! After getting married and  I took time out to  look after my children and when I was looking for a job I found one at the local hospital.  I progressed my way up and ended up in a compliance role. When I decide to start my own business, it made sense to remain in a field I understood. The CQC was created in 2012 just before I started my business. I saw an opportunity to do this as I already had knowledge of compliance.

I wrote my book because I was getting New Providers coming to me wanting to  do their application, but they were not prepared enough. I want to support those completing an Outstanding application themselves to do so efficiently and with all the information in place so that when they start the actual online application, they can do so in one sitting. I hope that this guide will make it easy to gather all the relevant information and increase chances of success.

The book also aims to help those who are not yet ready to start a regulated activity but will need to go through the process of personal development required to decide if it is the right thing for them.
