Meet The Author: Sapna Pieroux

26th February 2020

Sapna Pieroux is an award-winning brand consultant, designer, author, speaker and founder of brand consultancy InnerVisions ID. She is a Brand Mentor for a national programme called Shifts to Success helping police-officers transition into a life of entrepreneurship and a Business Mentor for Westmont Enterprise Hub at the University of West London. She lives in London with her husband Andy – also an entrepreneur – and their two karate-crazy boys, Luc and Leon.

Sapna’s 25-year career has spanned design, marketing, advertising and media sales, working with global brands such as Sony Ericsson, Mercedes Benz and Rimmel at design agencies and for media owners such as Chrysalis, emap and the Telegraph Media Group.

Having been the designer and also the client briefing designers, Sapna was all too familiar with the process and frustrations from both sides. Most designers don’t understand business-people, and most business people don’t understand designers.

They also don’t understand power of branding in attracting – or repelling – their ideal customers in literally seconds. “If you’re not getting noticed for the right reasons, it doesn’t matter how good you are – you may as well be invisible.”

Sapna wrote Let’s Get Visible! drawing on her own entrepreneurial experience as well as her branding expertise. Her book and VISIONTM process helps business owners understand brand and branding, why they are important and how they can use branding to build brand clarity, stand out in their industry and supercharge their business growth. The book will also help readers understand what they want and need so that they can brief their creative with more clarity and get a more awesome result.

Let’s Get Visible! was published in December 2019 by Rethink Press but has already been shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2020, become an Amazon #1 Bestseller in four categories and has garnered Sapna more paid speaking gigs – most notably keynote speaker at an upcoming International Women’s Day event, and new business signings and enquiries from across the globe and the UK. The book also led to her being offered her Mentorship role at the University in January 2020
