I am a Culture and Engagement specialist and my passion for understanding people and all their differences that has led me to become fluent in five languages and knowledgeable in all things human behaviour.
I firmly believe that when we understand why people do what they do, what their dreams are, and what environment they need to thrive, we can unlock the full power of their untapped potential.
“Employee Confidence – the new rules of Engagement” is my first book, and it was born out of a desire to make people happier and more fulfilled at work. I wanted a work environment where I personally could operate with confidence and reach full potential, and where others could do the same.
To achieve this, and based on my experience training employees to lead culture change, I felt that a completely new approach was required, enabling employees to feel confident enough to lead the change, and bringing benefits to the organisation as a whole.
The book therefore, offers value to both companies and employees, and anyone leading a team of people and wanting them to thrive.
It asks you to look at Employee Engagement through a completely different lens – Confidence – and build a culture that sustains individual and company performance.
Today’s companies have engagement, diversity and wellbeing on their agendas, and by following the rules in the book, and the approach advocated, a solution is found to all three, with employee confidence the common denominator, and the solution.
When employees feel confident, they feel engaged and included, and without sacrifice to their wellbeing. A win-win all round.
Publishing this book has enabled me to be the change I want to see – to grow my own confidence, and my potential, and to inspire others to do the same.
Employee Confidence: The new rules of Engagement has been shortlisted in the Leadership category of the Business Book Awards sponsored by Royds Withy King. To get your copy of the book Click here.
