Jacqui Mann is the founder of J Mann Associates and an HR expert who specialises in creating great places to work. She has a background in executive coaching and Human Resources. Jacqui has studied the wide-reaching impact people make on an organisation for over twenty years.

Her passion is in supporting SMEs to create and define great workplace cultures. She runs regular workshops and speaks about company culture at conferences and events.

As an employee, Jacqui worked for a large corporate who only paid lip service to the culture and the values. The values were plastered all over the walls, but they were not lived. This had a huge effect on her, so much so she became so unhappy she didn’t want to go to work.  This made her determined to help business owners create a culture that everyone could truly buy into, which has a massive impact on the performance of the business and staff. In order to do this Jacqui embarked on a journey that led to her writing the book Recruit, Inspire & Retain: How to create a company culture to grow your business.

The book gives a process that any business owner can follow. It introduces them to culture, explains the impact it can make. It gives simple steps to follow and you don’t need a huge budget to achieve it.  It has a practical no-nonsense approach.  The steps can be implemented by the business owner at very little cost apart from their time. Jacqui shares ideas of how some large companies embed their culture. This enables a business owner to take some of those ideas and make them relevant to their business.

Writing the book has enabled Jacqui to share her methodology with so many people which would have been impossible without the book.  It has increased her credibility and authority as an expert in company culture and enabled business owners to create great places to work.
