London, 11^th January 2021 – celebrating the most insightful, challenging and powerful business books of the year, the Business Book Awards are open for entries.

The Business Book Awards are back for their fourth year to celebrate the books that have helped guide, entertain and inspire business leaders and entrepreneurs through the uncertainty of 2020.

In a year that has provided business leaders around the world with an unprecedented combination of both personal and professional challenges, this year’s awards are set to cover 12 different categories ranging from ‘Start-up/Scale-up’ and ‘Business Journey’ through to ‘Business Self-Development’ and ‘Personal Wellbeing’ to reflect the wide range of skills required for business success in 2020.

The 2021 Business Book Awards are open to all books published between 1^st January 2020 and 31^st December 2020. The awards reflect the changing face of the publishing industry, so are open not only to books published through traditional routes but also self-published books – the only business book awards to do so.

The awards are now open for entries until 31^st January 2021. A shortlisting day with a panel of some of the finest minds in business, journalism and publishing will then take place in February before the shortlist is announced on 4^th March 2021. The winners of each category and the overall Business Book of the Year are announced at a live event in May 2021.

Speaking at the launch of the 2021 awards, founder Lucy McCarraher said: “Many of the challenges that business leaders have come up against in the past 12 months could never have been foreseen at the start of 2020, but business books have provided a source of invaluable advice, inspiration and escapism for millions of people around the world. It has been fascinating to see how authors and publishers have adapted, so we feel it is more important than ever to unearth, recognise and celebrate the very best books of the year.”
