After a difficult and uncertain year, with the Business Book Awards 2020 Event in March having been transferred from live to online with only a few days’ notice, we are delighted to announce that we’re about to launch the Business Book Awards 2021!

Entries for the Business Book Awards 2021 will open on 1st January 2021 with a deadline of 31st January 2021. The Awards 2021 are for all business books published between 1st January 2020 and 31st December 2020. The details are now available to view on our website, so please do check them out so you can enter your book as soon as we open entries.

Business Book Awards 2020 Live StreamAfter some discussion and consultation, we have made a few amendments to this year’s category titles; we have increased the number of categories and clarified descriptions so that we can include as many books as possible in the BBAs.

Last year we introduced a special award for books promoting Diversity and Inclusion. In line with our ongoing mission to challenge inequality, we have now added the category of Diversity, Inclusion and Equality Book as a permanent fixture to the awards. We strongly believe in the importance of highlighting and tackling the issues in this area that we continuously face, and this year we posted interviews with seven of our short-listed and winning authors of colour about their experiences of racism in business.

We have added a completely new award category so that we can include business books that tell powerful stories. The Business Journey Book category is for books that are biographies, autobiographies and other personal stories that inspire and inform business people. This category is also open to international authors, giving non-UK residents and citizens another category besides our International Business Book category.

In order to further promote business book authors and their experience, expertise and content, ThinkFest have launched an exciting new platform called The Thought Leaders Collective. We are reaching out to all our authors to get involved with this initiative and submit articles on subjects of interest. This is a fantastic opportunity for your work to be seen by our audience of over 100,000 business owners who are always keen to gain business knowledge.

We are keen to take any feedback from our authors, audience and supporters; please get in touch at businessbookawards[at]gmail.com if you’d like to let us know your thoughts or ideas of how we can improve the Business Book Awards.

We are also actively looking for sponsors, so If you know of any organisation that would benefit from partnering with the BBAs, please feel free to let us know, or forward our details to them.

For all the advance information about entering this year’s Business Book Awards, please take a look at our entry pack and ensure you have read all of our terms and conditions before entering at https://www.businessbookawards.co.uk/enter/. We look forward to seeing your book entered into the Awards this year!
