Sheryl is a business coach, award-winning entrepreneur, and author of the business and personal development book, Smashing Stereotypes: How To Get Ahead When You’re The Only _____ In The Room.

She is a qualified chartered accountant, previously at the firm EY, with a career spanning over 20 years working with Blue Chip organisations at a senior level, leading large-scale organisational change programmes.

Sheryl’s book draws upon her own experiences as a minority working at large blue-chip companies for over 20 years and reflects on the valuable lessons learnt, imparting constructive strategies and advice on succeeding in the corporate world whatever your background. The writing process led to a deep exploration of all things ED&I and uncovered a passion to work with organisations who seek to truly level the playing field and bring out the best in all of us.

Sheryl has mentored startups, aspiring business owners, leaders and young people for the Prince’s Trust and the Professional Women’s Network (PWN) London, and she is co-founder of the Stilettos Network – a networking organisation for women from all backgrounds in pursuit of a more gender equal society. She was a finalist in the Birmingham Awards Business Woman of the Year, and is founder and director of a portfolio of businesses which include Reboot Global, a company that provides ED&I consultancy, training and retreats for people seeking clarity and purpose.

Sheryl has been an avid reader all her life and has been featured or appeared in various media outlets, including the Financial Times, BBC, CEO Today, Business Insider, ITV Central News, Newsnight and shares her musings on via the Whistle While You Work Podcast.
