Phil is the co-author of Coaching On the Go: How to lead your team successfully in 10 minutes a day with Jenny Robinson. Together they run a successful leadership development and coaching business (www.coachingonthego.co.uk).
Phil has been providing leadership development, facilitation and management/executive coaching for over ten years. He works with a diverse range of clients from the public sector to the private sector and to the third sector; from juniors to executives and with all sorts of job roles and challenges. Phil’s passion is enabling others to learn the skills of coaching to use in their everyday lives. He takes the view that we are all leaders.
Phil completed his PhD at Cranfield University School of Management in 2019. He is a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University and a Visiting Professor (Leadership and Coaching) at the London Institute of Banking and Finance. He publishes regularly in academic and trade journals much of which also appears in his blog www.coachingonthego.co.uk/blog.
Before moving into the field of coaching and leadership development Phil had over 15 years’ successful senior business leadership experience including Board appointments. Phil has lived and worked in London, New York and Sydney. He is married to Alison and they have the cutest miniature schnauzer, Buzz. They love to travel in their VW campervan together.
