Obi James is a Nigerian-Finnish Executive Coach with over 15 years experience in people and leadership development gained within large public and private sector companies including Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Deloitte and the NHS. Since leaving her in-house HR role as a vice president in 2012, she has trained and certified as a mediator and an executive coach. She is also a Organisational & Relationship Systems Coach (ORSCC) and a Certified Team Performance Coach (CTPC).

Obi specialises in developing leaders, teams and organisations to embrace inclusive and liberating ways of unleashing leadership in all, so that every individual and business can thrive.

In recent years, her focus has been on facilitating inclusive leadership development and culture change across organisations, with clients including various executives and leadership teams within organisations such as Sony, Bloomberg, Blackrock, Lloyds, Visa, Farfetch and Save the Children (SCUK).

In 2019, she joined the Board of Trustees for Royal African Society (RAS) and continues to play an active role in amplifying African voices and interests globally.
