Jo Watson is a corporate partnerships and business development professional with over 20 years’ experience working with standout brands, major corporates, and professional institutes. She is currently Head of Corporate Partnerships at the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), where she leads a team creating high-impact partnerships that strengthen sustainability strategies, workforce capability, and organisational growth.
Jo has held commercial partnership roles at Comparethemarket.com, BGL Group, Allianz, and Willis Towers Watson, delivering commercial growth while embedding initiatives with meaningful value. She has grown teams, increased revenue, and consistently translated complex business priorities into tangible outcomes. Alongside her professional work, she has chaired charity events, organised volunteering programmes, and supported education and skills development initiatives.
Attending mainstream comprehensive schools, Jo was the first in her family to attend university, earning a BSc degree in Earth Science & Sports Studies. Her career reflects resilience, curiosity, and determination, demonstrating that background does not define potential. A lifelong learner, she has a passion for business books, and podcasts and enjoys discussing her latest discoveries or long-time favorites with colleagues and peers.
Jo is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), holds a BSc (Hons) in Earth Science & Sports Studies, and is an Associate Member of ISEP (AISEP).
