Joanne Conway is a culture & inclusion leader and culture strategist who cares deeply about creating workplaces where people can do their best thinking and feel like they genuinely belong. As Head of Inclusion for a global law firm, she leads the culture and inclusion agenda across EMEA and APAC, helping leaders and teams move beyond statements and into the everyday behaviours and choices that actually shift culture. Her work blends evidence, honesty, and practicality always with an eye on what will genuinely create impact, not just activity. Joanne has just completed a doctorate in cultural studies, where her research explores power, privilege and the structural and cultural forces that shape organisational life. This shapes the way she works, bringing academic rigour, critical thinking and cultural insight into real‑world environments that need nuance and pragmatism in equal measure. She has lectured at universities, designing and delivering modules on HR, inclusion, and culture. Joanne is known for her ability to take complex topics and make them accessible, actionable, and human. Alongside her organisational work, she shares open‑access tools, frameworks and thinking to help others scale impact. Alongside her role in organisations, she advises the 93% Club, championing social mobility and helping to strengthen access, opportunity, and fair progression.
