Michelle Horsfield CEnv, heads ESG Advisory in EMEA for a global bank combining a finance perspective with her 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector. She works with the biggest global companies on decarbonisation strategies and aligning financing to demonstrate their commitments to longer term sustainability goals.
Prior to shifting into sustainable finance Michelle advised the executive team at BP on climate change and potential impacts on the business. Michelle headed Technical Standards for industries in transition in the standard setting body Climate Bonds Initiative where she authored some of the initial thought leadership on ‘Hallmarks of Credible Transition Plans’. She is now a presenter for Sustainability Unlocked.
