Del is a senior director in the strategic communications energy and natural resources team at FTI Consulting, where she works with companies from across the energy transition to raise their profile in the media, engage with communities where they work, develop corporate narratives and implement integrated communications campaigns.
She has more than 20 years experience working in journalism and communications across a range of sectors, including natural resources, construction and engineering, charity and local government.
Her previous roles include head of communications at social integration charity The Challenge; global PR manager at construction and engineering company J. Murphy & Sons Limited; communications specialist at mining company South32; and media account director at Capita.
She also worked in the public sector for many years as senior communications officer at Hammersmith & Fulham Council, where she developed and led creative communications campaigns, and worked on the Olympics and some of the UK’s largest construction programmes, such as the Westfield and the regeneration of the Thames waterfront.
Based in London, Del is originally from the Swansea Valley, and enjoys playing and coaching hockey, watching rugby, and going to the theatre.
Del holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Bristol and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
